Worst leasing company I've ever dealt with. The company bought the home I now live in about 2/3 years ago. I have a group of 3 friends living in the home prior to, and after, their purchase. They have NEVER walked through or been to this home...EVER. About a year ago I moved in and took over the lease spot of one of those three individuals. I paid $300 to take over the lease. That's non refundable. Now here's where things got very interesting. It took over 18 emails and 10 phone calls just to get them to understand what was happening (one guys off the lease and myself taking it over). They would apologize and say sorry you must have spoken to my colleague, but time and time again we actually spoke with the same two people and were sending them the full email thread. Leaving me to assume they are either spread to thin and it's a management issue or they are just completely incompetent. I asked if they would do a walk through because I knew that they had in fact never once even seen the home. They essentially said no and noted that to do so they would have to end the current lease. Everyone that was staying would then need to reapply, have another background check for legal and finance (they would be charged), and a new deposit would be needed but they wouldn't receive their money back from the original deposit for up to 60 days. Over the year they continued to send communications to the individual who is no longer on the lease. Including listing him on the lease renewal as if he had been living here all year and having plumbers or electricians call him on his cell as they apparently felt his contact information was the first line of communication. Again, this was literally removed during the removal of him from the lease a year ago. So needless to say, we are moving out. It's yet to be seen but should be very interesting as they have a lease agreement that's basically from 4 years ago and another company that they acquired but never once have been to or seen the home in any manner but on paper. I'm concerned to the point I have touched base with a lawyer to provide him details preemptively just in case things get extra dumb. I would avoid working with this company unless you absolutely have to.
